San Jose second line opens:
The light-rail line from San Jose to Mountain View, the Tasman
West line, opened today (Friday 17 December). Riding is free until 1 Febuary. This weekend trains run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. From Monday service starts at 05.30 every 10 minutes. The USD 327m line has 12 stops and connects to the Guadalupe line at Baypointe Station. The journey from there to Mountain View takes 30 minutes.
