line opens:
Manila Metro Rail Transit 3, known as the Metrostar Express, started operation on Wednesday (15th December). The line which runs from North Triangle in Quezon City to Buendia in Makati was beset by problems including several power outages. The trip takes 30 minutes while a similar journey by bus would take 2 hours.
