Tramway openings : Three tramways have opened in the last few days, Two in France and one in the United States:

Le Mans: The inauguration took place on the 17 November. The Le Mans Tramway is 15.0 km in length and cost EUR 337million, or about GBP 236million. It uses Alstom Citadis 302 trams.

Nice: The inauguration took place on the 24 November. The Nice Tramway is 8.7 km in length and cost EUR 333million, or about GBP 233million It uses Alstom Citadis 302 trams.

Charlotte: The inauguration took place on the 24 November. The LYNX Blue Light Rail system is 9.6-mile (15.45 km) in length and cost USD 462.7million, or about GBP 231million. It uses Siemens S70 LRVs.
