Alstom trams for Toulouse : The new EUR 200 million suburban tramway to be built in the French city of Toulouse, linking Blagnac with the metro system, will be operated by Alstom Citadis 302 low-floor trams. Promoting authority Tisséo has ordered 18 cars for EUR 65.8 million, with an option for a further 6. The exterior design of the new trams, due for delivery in 2008, will reflect that many of the passengers will be workers at the Airbus factory in Blagnac.
