Orléans east-west line to be tramway:
The Council of the Urban Community in the French city of Orléans decided on 25 March that the second segregated transit line should also be built as a tramway. Elections after completion of the north-south tramway brought an anti-tram mayor to power, and various guided bus options were investigated. However a new study has concluded that a tramway is still the best option, and this is the decision that has been confirmed.
