Trios for Portland and Washington, DC: Six more low-floor trams from the Czech Republic will be coming to the US in the first months of 2006. They will be DPO Inekon's Trio design, manufactured in the workshops of the Ostrava tramway undertaking and double-ended model 12T.

Three will be delivered to Portland Streetcar (joining seven 10T models built by Skoda Inekon already in service), for the extension of the line to RiverPlace, due to open in June 2006. The other three have been ordered by WMATA in Washington, DC, to be used on the 4-km Anacostia light rail demonstration line, which it is hoped to open in early September 2006.
