Spanish tram order: Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) has placed an order with Bombardier for the delivery of 30 bi-directional 100% low-floor Bombardier FLEXITY Outlook trams for service on the tram network of Valencia and Alicante. The 5 section trams will have a length of 32.5 metres and will be air conditioned.

The contract is valued at approximately USD106 million (81 million Euros). Deliveries are scheduled to take place between 2006 and 2007. The contract also includes an option for further 10 trams of the same type.
