Marseille order confirmed:
Bombardier Transportation received an order from the Communauté Urbaine Marseille Provence Métropole (CUMPM) for the delivery of 26 bi-directional Bombardier FLEXITY Outlook trams. The new 100% low-floor trams will be put in service on the new tram network of Marseille that will open at the beginning of 2007. The value of the contract amounts to approximately USD81 million US (61 million Euros). Deliveries are scheduled between September 2006 and April 2007.
This confirms the provisional order that was reported in June (see earlier newspage).
