Bordeaux - next stage to open: Four months after the inauguration of the first section of its surface contact tram Bordeaux is on the point of bringing into service on April 24 a portion of line C, despite the technical problems that have beset the initial line A.

Although the full opening of lines B & C has been put back to July to give time to solve insulation problems it has been decided to open the section of line C between the station Saint-Jean of Bordeaux to the place des Quinconces this weekend and on May 15 the part of line B crossing the centre of Bordeaux.
