New dates for US transit inaugurations: The Camden/Trenton (NJ) diesel light rail line, which was supposed to open on 13 February, had its inauguration postponed to 14 March, following last minute problems with the automatic half-barrier crossing gates that are a feature of the highway level crossings on the former railroad section.

New Orleans' Canal Street tramway, which had its opening postponed last year due to unfinished landscaping and paving, will now open on 18 April.

The opening of the new light rail line in Minneapolis-St Paul, scheduled for 3 April, is likely to be postponed due to a potential strike by operating staff of the transit agency, following the breakdown of pay negotiations.
