The remainder will arrive in November, The 29 cars will supplement TRAX's 33 car fleet during the winter Olympics from February 3 through February 26, 2002. The DART cars will retain their bright yellow livery. They seat 76 compared to the TRAX cars at 64. The UTA is also receiving 900 buses on loan from transit systems nationwide during the Olympics.

The cars are being tested on the north/south TRAX line. Testing will take about two weeks. The cars have all been tested previously in Dallas, but testing on arrival will ensure that none of the cars were damaged in transit and check for any incompatability problems.

It is expected that the TRAX system will open its new LRT line to the University on December 15, 2001.
