Adelaide guided bus plan scrapped:
The South Australia government has abandoned plans to build a new 10-km O-Bahn guided bus line to the southern suburbs of Adelaide after an engineering feasibility study found the project would cost AUD 182 million to build, rather than the AUD 110 million originally estimated. The busway would have run from the city to Bedford Park via Goodwood and Tonsley using a mixture of new alignment and rail alignment. The government has concluded that from a cost-benefit perspective there is no feasible option for taking forward the Southern O-Bahn project.
