Docklands order:
Docklands Light Railway has awarded a £17.4 million contract to
Bombardier Transportation for the supply of 12 automatic-control LRVs
from September 2001. They will match the 70 Bombardier articulated cars
already in use, and will be built in the BN plant at Brugge, Belgium.
The contract includes an option for a further 12 vehicles.
